1. AIMS
1.1 The aim of the College with regards to discipline is gradually to lead the student towards mastery of self. Hence discipline is never considered as an end in itself, but only as a means to help each student lead an orderly and, consequently, a more satisfactory life.
2. THE FORM TEACHER
2.1 To facilitate dialogue and communication between students and staff, each form will have its own Form Teacher to whom students will present their queries, suggestions, complaints, etc.
2.2 It will still be possible for any student to refer personally either to the Assistant Headmaster or to the Rector.
3. STUDENTS AND STAFF
3.1 Members of Staff are to be addressed as Father, Sir, Madam, etc.
3.2 It is highly recommended, particularly early in the morning, that when students and staff meet in the corridors they wish each other a good day.
3.3. On entering the classroom to start the lesson, the teacher's presence is to be acknowledged and, following the normal rules of courtesy, greetings are to be exchanged.
3.4 In the College we insist on Punctuality. It is a serious break of discipline for a student to arrive late for class without a valid reason.
3.5 Never talk to a member of the staff with your hands in your pockets.
3.6 If you need to talk to any staff member, avoid the staffroom. This normally should be done before/after the lesson.
3.7 If a staff member happens to be busy with someone else, please wait until he/she finishes or makes a sign for you to approach.
3.8 Any serious show of disrespect towards any member of the College Staff may result in exclusion from school for a number of days.
4. RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN STUDENTS
4.1 Students are to build their relationship with their peers and companions on mutual respect and co-operation.
4.2 All forms of bullying, therefore, are never tolerated - bullying being so profoundly uncivil and unchristian.
4.3 Horse-play too is not allowed.
5. THE COLLEGE UNIFORM
5.1 Each student must constantly bear in mind that he is representing his College. His behaviour and language, therefore, must be civil and courteous throughout, both on the premises and on his way to and from school.
5.2 The College uniform is to be worn to and from school. (During winter, on P.E. days, students can come to school in the college track suit.)
5.2.1 After Holy Mass, however, he can change into the college tracksuit. On hot days one can wear a bermuda shorts.
5.3 Each student should come to school with a neat and smart haircut. Students with unacceptable hairstyles may be sent home.
5.3.1 Ear-rings may not be worn.
5.3.2 Smoking is absolutely forbidden.
6. ON THE PREMISES
6.1 There will be no running and/or shouting within the school buildings.
6.2 Areas which are out of bounds for students include the staff-room, the area near the Catacombs, St. Agatha's Motherhouse itself and its gardens.
6.3 No student is to leave the College premises during school hours, and this include all breaks.
6.4 It is also forbidden for all students to go and stay in any bar, shop, club, etc. particularly in the Rabat area, during any break or to and from school.
7. DAMAGES
7.1 Any damage done should be reported immediately.
7.2 Property wilfully damaged by students will be restored or repaired, and the expenses charged to the guilty party or parties.
8. PUNISHMENTS
8.1 Punishments when necessary are aimed at helping the student improve his ways.
8.1.1 They are usually given after warnings, and their severity may vary according to the seriousness of the misdeed committed.
8.2 When inflicting punishment teachers are to abide by the mode in which the College intends students to be disciplined. This is based on a Cumulative Points System.
8.2.1 Besides, at their discretion, teachers may ask students to do some extra work in the form of extra homework - but never lines. Even here, teachers are to bear in mind the amount of regular homework the students would have. Hence extra work should amount to not more than 30 to 45 minutes
8.3 The Cumulative Points System:
 No Homework = 3 points
 Copied Homework = 4 points
 Careless/Incomplete HW = 2 points
Out of Class = 3 points
 Misbehaving = 2 points
Late for Lesson = 2 points
 No Kit / Equipment = 3 points
 No Textbook = 1 point
8.3.1 During anyone particular term, whenever a student accumulates 15 disciplinary points, he will be detained after school hours.
8.3.2 It is at the discretion of the Ass. Head / Rector for a student to be detained after school hours or asked to report to school on a holiday.
8.3.3 It is at the discretion of the Rector and Ass. Head for a student to be sent home from school for a number of days.
8.3.4 When such corrective measures prove ineffective, parents may be called to the College for the problem to be addressed and a line of action, common to both school and home, decided upon.
9. REPETITION AND EXPULSION
9.1 The College authorities reserve the right of decision whether to allow a student to repeat a class when he fails a particular year.
9.2 In extreme cases, the College authorities reserve the right to expel a student from school definitively.
